Courses offered on line. Starting this fall, courses will be offered on line over the internet as well as live and at video conferencing labs along the east coast. Initially, the Christian Faith will be offered live and in video classrooms, but will be broadcast simultaneoulsy over the internet to people who are unable to get to one of the sites. Interpreting the Bible will be offered synchronously on line. By next year, we hope to offer web-based courses asynchronously for the convenience of our students.

1000 missionaries to be trained this decade.
Dr. Robert Scudieri of LCMS North American Missions has called for the training of 1000 or more missionaries by 2010. The Mission Training Center will have a key role in this process in the years ahead by offering asyn-chronous web-based courses.

MTC Serves 50 learners per year: A total of 51 different individuals have taken MTC courses during the 2001-2002 academic year and 50 more in 2002-3. We praise God for the kind of response we have had to our new institution for training mission leaders.

New sites for MTC training. In addition to Bronxville and 3 SE district sites, Associate's Level courses are being delivered to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Video conferencing facilities are presently being developed in Boston and Buffalo, which will become future MTC sites.
