If a course is designated as being offered via gotomeeting.com:

1. The instructor will supply you with a telephone number and an identification number in advance of the class.

2. Just prior to the class time, call up gotomeeting.com in your browser and click on "join a meeting."

3. Allow a little time for the software to dowload, and then you will be asked to enter the 9-digit meeting identification number you have been given. The next display you see will be your instructor's computer desk top. On the right of the screen is a panel you can open and close which contains the names of all the individuals on line as well as a chat box.

4. Then dial the telephone number and follow the instructions. You will be asked to enter your identification number, which will be the same 9-digit number you used to access the on-line meeting. At that point you will be joined to a conference call comprised of the instructor and all the learners in your class.

This technology now works with both PC and Apple platforms.
